Chairman and Managing Director

John is a commerce graduate and is a regular participant in executive management programs conducted by Harvard University. As the Chairman and Managing Director of the firm, John plays a very proactive and hands-on role in the growth of the firm. He is also the Chairman of Muthoot Fincorp and Muthoot Capital Services (a firm listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange), both of which are leading non-banking financial services firms. He is actively involved in driving strategy for these firms and has led their growth for the last 25 years. John has also led the diversification of the group into Real Estate, Hospitality, Automobile Distribution and Alternate Energy. He has a zest for travel, reading and is a fitness enthusiast.

Director

George is the Managing Director of Muthoot Capital Services, a firm listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, as well as an Executive Director on the board of other group entities. In addition to his role at Muthoot Capital Services, he leads the marketing and distribution portfolio at Muthoot Fincorp. He is actively involved in the growth of the group’s financial services business and is responsible for the roll out of retail branch network; this has been forecast to grow to 2,200 branches by the end of 2011, from the current base of 1,400 branches .George is also the Chairman of Kerala Non-Banking Finance Companies Welfare Association.

Director

Thomas is the Executive Director on the board of other group entities and also leads the strategy function to enable the growth and diversification of Muthoot Fincorp into micro finance and housing finance. His deep knowledge of micro credit has enabled the group to make rapid strides in establishing their presence in this fast growing segment. Thomas also leads the group’s involvement with the local society within which the group operates and is actively involved in community projects. Thomas is passionate about sailing and sports. He is the Vice President of Ernakulam District Cricket Association.
